THE FOLLOWING ASPECTS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL STRESS: ARE DISCUSSED: THE EFFECT OF SLEEP DEPRIVATION, SLEEP DEPRIVATION FOR 48 HOURS, THE EFFECT OF DISTURBED SLEEP ON SKILL AND THE COMBINED ASPECTS OF SLEEP LOSS AND ALCOHOL. EXISTING LITERATURE IS REPORTED. ALSO, A STUDY WAS CONDUCTED IN COLLABORATION WITH THE HUMAN RESOURCES RESEARCH OFFICE OF THE GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY ON A SIMULATED DRIVING TASK; ON A TASK OF MONITORING FOUR SCREENS IN A TYPICAL VIGILANCE TEST IN WHICH THE SUBJECTS WERE REQUIRED TO REPORT THE APPEARANCE OF A FAINT LIGHT ON THE SCREEN, AND ON THE STRESSALYZER. /CGRA/
