A COMPUTER AIDED MOVIE-PRODUCING PROGRAM FOR THE SIMULATION PROGRAM OF ROADSIDE ENERGY CONVERSION SYSTEMS

A SUB-TASK IS DOCUMENTED UNDER A PROJECT AIMED AT THE DEVELOPMENT OF ANALYTICAL PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATING EXISTING AND PROPOSED ROADSIDE ENERGY CONVERSION SYSTEMS TO REDUCE THE INJURY-PRODUCING CONSEQUENCES OF A VEHICLE RUNNING OFF THE ROADWAY AND ENCOUNTERING DANGEROUS ROADSIDE FEATURES OR FIXED OBJECTS. THE REPORTED RESEARCH DESCRIBED A COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR PRODUCING A MOTION PICTURE OUTPUT FROM THE DYNAMIC TAPED OUTPUT OF THE AUTOMOBILE-ROADSIDE TERRAIN SIMULATION MODEL. THIS MOTION PICTURE REPRESENTATION ENHANCES THE COMPREHENSION AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE CONSIDERABLE DATA RESULTING FROM THE SIMULATION RUNS. THIS COMPUTER PROGRAM SHOULD BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE MODEL DESCRIBED IN A REPORT ENTITLED DETERMINATION OF THE PHYSICAL CRITERIA FOR AN ENERGY CONVERSION SYSTEM BY MESSRS. MCHENCY, SEGAL AND DELEYS. /BPR/
