USE OF CORROSION-RESISTANT PLASTIC COATINGS ON REINFORCED CONCRETE /IN RUSSIAN/
TESTS ON LKS POLYMER RESIN MASTIC CONTAINING CEMENT OR FILLER ARE DESCRIBED. RESULTS SHOW THAT THIS TYPE OF MASTIC HAS A HIGH MECHANICAL STRENGTH, HARDENS FAIRLY QUICKLY, HAS GOOD ADHESION PROPERTIES, IS IMPERVIOUS TO WATER AND RESISTANT TO ACIDS, BASES AND ELECTROLYTES USED AS PROTECTIVE COATING 1.5 MM THICK. IT IS 2.5 TO 10 TIMES LESS EXPENSIVE THAN STANDARD COATINGS. /LCPC/RRL/
