SYNTHETIC RESINS FOR COLOR SURFACINGS
THE USE OF A SYNTHETIC RESIN (PAVEBRITE), OF THE SAME MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS AS BITUMEN 80-100, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF COLORED SURFACINGS IS DESCRIBED. THE MIX TEMPERATURE IS ABOUT 160C AND THE PROPORTION IS 12% RESIN AND 6% FILLER, ADDING PIGMENTS OF DIFFERENT COLORS IN A PROPORTION WHICH VARIES BETWEEN 125 G AND 12.5 KG PER TON. THE POSSIBILITIES FOR THIS RESIN FOR ROAD MARKINGS ARE VERY GREAT. /LTE/LCPC/RRL/
