SILICONE ADDS FLEX TO CONCRETE TOPPING

TRAFFIC TOPPING, COMPOUNDED OF SILICONE RUBBER AND SPECIAL REINFORCING MATERIALS, IS A NEW SURFACING MATERIAL THAT VULCANIZES TO A FLEXIBLE CONCRETE-LIKE SUBSTANCE. ITS ABILITY TO BEND, ELONGATE AND RESIST WATER PENETRATION PROVIDES GREATLY IMPROVED DURABILITY UNDER EXPOSURE CONDITIONS. THE MATERIAL IS ABRASION-RESISTANT, FLEXIBLE, WATERPROOF, WEATHERPROOF AND RESISTANT TO ORGANIC ACIDS, IT CURES TO A SERVICEABLE CONDITION IN 16 HOURS AND MAINTAINS ITS FLEXIBILITY AT EXTREMELY LOW TEMPERATURES BECAUSE OF ITS LOW DEGREE OF THERMAL EXPANSION. ONE OF ITS PRIMARY DEVELOPMENTAL USES HAS BEEN AS A PROTECTIVE COATING OVER CONVENTIONAL CONCRETE WHERE PENETRATION, ACID ATTACK, MOVEMENT OR OTHER CONDITIONS HAVE CAUSED DAMAGE. IT CAN BE USED AS A FLEXIBLE GROUT FOR TILE, TO REPAIR CRACKS IN INDUSTRIAL CONCRETE FLOORS AND PADS AND IS SUITED FOR USE IN TRAFFIC MARKINGS IN PLANT PARKING LOTS. IT IS AVAILABLE IN 6 STANDARD COLORS WHICH ARE INORGANIC PIGMENTS WITH HIGH RESISTANCE TO FADING. TRAFFIC TOPPING CAN BE APPLIED IN A SINGLE OPERATION, WITH ONLY A SINGLE PRIMING TO THE SUBSTRATE.
