THE EPOXY PLASTICS FALL INTO THREE CLASSES: (1) FLUID SYSTEMS, FOR FILLING CRACKS, PRIMING SURFACES, AND REPAIRING CRACKS BY INJECTION UNDER PRESSURE; (2) THIXOTROPIC SYSTEMS FOR FIXING CONCRETE OR OTHER PARTS INCLUDING NEW CONCRETE TO OLD; AND (3) MORTAR SYSTEMS WHICH COMPRISE DIFFERENT PROPORTIONS OF PLASTIC AND CONCRETE CONSTITUENTS AND ARE USED FOR REPAIRING HEAVY DAMAGE, MAKING FLOORS AND OTHER CONSTRUCTION UNITS. THEIR USE IN THE BUILDING INDUSTRY IN THE USA, FRANCE, ENGLAND AND SWEDEN IS REPORTED. THESE PLASTICS ARE MAINLY USED IN SURFACE TREATMENTS FOR FLOORS, ROADS, BRIDGES, AND AS ADHESIVES. /AUTHOR/
