HOLOGRAM PROJECTION ON CURVED IMAGE PLANES
HOLOGRAPHY ALLOWS IN-FOCUS PROJECTION OF IMAGES ON THREE- DIMENSIONAL FOCAL PLANES OF ARBITRARY SHAPE. POTENTIAL APPLICATION OF THE METHOD LIES IN PHOTO-ETCHING REFERENCE GRIDS FOR MOIRE-PATTERN STRAIN ANALYSIS USING A GREEN- SENSITIVE PHOTORESIST WITH AN ARGON-ION LASER. THE METHOD IS DEMONSTRATED USING PHOTOGRAPHIC FILM AND AN ESTIMATE OF FOCUSSING ERRORS AND ABERRATIONS IS MADE. /AUTHOR/
