ADHESION ASPECTS OF URETHANE COATINGS
MOISTURE-CURED AND OIL-MODIFIED TYPE URETHANE COATINGS WERE COMPARED TO CONVENTIONAL FINISHES IN RESPECT TO INTERCOAT ADHESION AND ADHESION TO FILLED AND UNFILLED WOOD, OF FINISHES /ON WOOD/ AND STEEL. IT WAS FOUND THAT MOISTURE- CURED COATINGS AND AN OIL-MODIFIED URETHANE FORMULATION, CONTAINING POLYETHER, ARE GENERALLY LESS SENSITIVE TO VARIATIONS IN SURFACE CONDITIONS THAN ARE THE CONVENTIONAL AND OTHER URETHANE COATINGS INVESTIGATED. /AUTHOR/
