THE AIM OF THE RESEARCH PROJECT - STARTING FROM THE COMPLEX RELATIONSHIPS FOUND BY SASSE BETWEEN CONCRETE COMPRESSION STRENGTH AND THE PROPERTIES OF THE COMPONENTS - MATRIX AND AGGREGATES - SHOULD RESULT IN NEW DRAFT METHODS FOR NORMAL AND LIGHT CONCRETES. ABOVE ALL, A METHOD FOR THE COMPUTERISED PRE-DETERMINATION OF THE COMPRESSION STRENGTH OF CONSTRUCTIONAL LIGHT CONCRETES SHOULD BE DEVELOPED IN THIS WAY AND THUS SHOULD RESOLVE A PREVIOUSLY UNSOLVED PROBLEM.
