A LINEAR, TIME-DEPENDENT RELATION FOR CONCRETE IS USED TO DETERMINE THE REDISTRIBUTION OF INTERNAL FORCES AND STRESSES AS A RESULT OF CREEP AND SHRINKAGE IN PRESTRESSED CONCRETE SECTIONS WITH AN ARBITRARY ARRANGEMENT OF REINFORCEMENT. ADDITIONAL RESTRAINT FORCES IN STATICALLY INDETERMINATE PRESTRESSED CONCRETE GIRDERS CAN ONLY BE PRODUCED BY AXIAL FORCES AND SHRINKAGE; THOSE PRODUCED BY BENDING ACTION ARE NEGLIGIBLE. AN EQUATION IS GIVEN FOR DETERMINING THE TIME-VARYING SUPPORT FORCES AND THE INTERNAL ACTIONS. /TRRL/
