NON-TENSIONED STEEL IN PRESTRESSED CONCRETE BEAMS
A STUDY OF THE EFFECTS OF NON-TENSIONED STEEL ON THE BEHAVIOR OF PRESTRESSED CONCRETE BEAMS IS PRESENTED. EFFECTS ON CAMBER, LOSS OF PRESTRESS FORCE, CRACKING, AND DEFLECTIONS ARE INCLUDED. ANALYTICAL RESULTS ARE COMPARED WITH THE OBSERVED BEHAVIOR OF TWELVE, SIMPLY SUPPORTED, PRESTRESSED CONCRETE BEAMS, TEN OF WHICH CONTAINED NON-TENSIONED STEEL. /PCIJ/
