LONG-TIME TORSION TESTS ON TWO SPECIMENS, ONE OF PLAIN CONCRETE AND THE OTHER REINFORCED CONCRETE, ARE PRESENTED TOGETHER WITH SHORT-TIME TESTS ON TWO COMPANION SPECIMENS. THE EFFECTS OF SUSTAINED LOADING ON ULTIMATE TORSIONAL STRENGTH AND STIFFNESS, THE TORQUE-TWIST CURVES, AND THE CONCRETE STRAINS ARE CONSIDERED.
