A PRACTICAL DESIGN AID IS PRESENTED FOR STANDARD PRE- STRESSED CONCRETE MEMBERS PERMITTING ANY EXACT AND COMPLETE GRAPHICAL SHEAR DESIGN FOR ANY UNIFORMLY LOADED SIMPLE SPAN. THE GRAPHS OUTLINE VISUALLY THE SHEAR STEEL REQUIRED BY THE ACI BUILDING CODE SHEAR STEEL EQUATIONS. THE COMPUTER PROGRAM DEVELOPED TO EXECUTE THE CALCULATIONS AND DRAW THE GRAPHS IS GENERAL AND CAN BE APPLIED TO ANY PRESTRESSED MEMBER. /PCIJ/
