DEFORMATION OF CONCRETE UNDER BIAXIAL STRESSES
DEFORMATION DU BETON SOUS CONTRAINTES BIAXIALES
TO STUDY THE MECHANICAL BEHAVIOUR OF CONCRETE SUBJECTED TO BIAXIAL STRESSES. A PROTOTYPE OF THE BIAXIAL APPARATUS IS USED TO LOAD A CONCRETE SAMPLE IN TWO DIRECTIONS. CREEP MEASUREMENTS ARE TAKEN. AFTER TESTS WERE CONDUCTED TO CONTROL THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE EQUIPMENT AND THE LOAD DISTRIBUTION ON THE FLAT-SPRING EQUIPMENT, A MODIFICATION TO THE LATTER, WHICH WOULD PERMIT SATISFACTORY DISTRIBUTION OF MIX PROPORTIONS, IS BEING STUDIED.
