COATINGS AND ENCAPSULANTS. PRESERVERS IN SEA.
Methods are described for corrosion or deterioration protection and fouling prevention for all types of marine surfaces through use of coatings and encapsulants. The coatings and procedures specified are based on research and development efforts of United States Navy laboratories to cope with destructive elements of marine environments and fulfill requirements for economical and efficient preservation of ships in service.
