THE COLUMN ANALOGY METHOD HAS SOME ADVANTAGE OVER THE OTHER CLASSICAL METHODS OF MOMENT AREA, VIRTUAL WORK AND MOMENT DISTRIBUTION WHEN COMPUTING SECONDARY MOMENTS IN REDUNDANT, SINGLE-SPAN PRESTRESSED CONCRETE BEAMS. IT IS GENERALLY SUPERIOR TO MOMENT DISTRIBUTION FOR DETERMINING SECONDARY MOMENTS IN SINGLE-BAY, PRESTRESSED CONCRETE RECTANGULAR AND GRABLE FRAMES. /AUTHOR/
