TORSION OF STRUCTURAL CONCRETE--INTERACTION SURFACE FOR COMBINED TORSION, SHEAR, AND BENDING IN BEAMS WITHOUT STIRRUPS
MEMBERS SUBJECTED TO COMBINED TORSION, SHEAR, AND BENDING CAN BE CONVENIENTLY STUDIED BY A NON-DIMENSIONAL INTERACTION SURFACE. USING THIS METHOD AND TESTS AVAILABLE IN THE LITERATURE FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE MEMBERS WITHOUT STIRRUPS WERE ANALYZED, AND A SIMPLE CONSERVATIVE DESIGN CRITERION IS DERIVED.
