PAVEMENT EVALUATION BY WAVE PROPAGATION METHOD

SURFACE WAVE MEASUREMENTS ARE USED IN EVALUATING A PAVEMENT SYSTEM FOT STUDYING PERFORMANCE, MAINTENANCE, AND ESTABLISHING CONSTRUCTION CONTROL. THE EXPERIMENTAL PROCEDURE IS DESCRIBED, AND THE THEORETICAL BASIS FOR INTERPRETING THE EXPERIMENTAL DATA IS REVIEWED.
