COMPOSITE PAVEMENT DESIGN FOR ROADS AND STREETS

THIS PAPER CONTAINS A BRIEF REVIEW OF THE CORPS OF ENGINEERS DEVELOPMENT OF ONE TYPE OF COMPOSITE PAVEMENT DESIGN PROCEDURE FOR AIRFIELD PAVEMENTS. THIS DEVELOPMENT IS USED AS A BASIS FOR PRESENTING A PROCEDURE FOR THE DESIGN OF COMPOSITE PAVEMENT FOR ROADS AND STREETS. SUFFICIENT INFORMATION IS GIVEN FOR THE DIRECT APPLICATION OF THIS PROCEDURE. ADEQUATE REFERENCES ARE PROVIDED FOR MORE DETAILED STUDY OF THIS DEVELOPMENT AND DESIGN PROCEDURE. /AUTHOR/
