DESIGN OF STABLE CHANNELS IN ALLUVIAL MATERIALS
A METHOD OF DESIGNING SAND-BED CHANNELS IS SUGGESTED WHICH CONSIDERS BED ROUGHNESS, RESISTANCE TO FLOW, BED MATERIAL DISCHARGE, AND CHANNEL GEOMETRY. AN ALLUVIAL CHANNEL MAY BE DESIGNED WHEN THE DISCHARGE, FALL DIAMETER OF THE BED MATERIAL, AND THE WATER TEMPERATURE ARE KNOWN. /ACSE/
