THE MODIFICATION OF THE PRESSURES ON RIGID CULVERTS WITH FILL PROCEDURES
A FINITE-ELEMENT METHOD OF ANALYSIS FOR PROBLEMS OF PLANE ELASTICITY IS EMPLOYED IN THE CONSIDERATION OF THE PRESSURES ON A RIGID CULVERT IN WHICH VARYING FILL PROCEDURES ARE USED. FIVE CASES ARE DEALT WITH AND THE PRACTICAL EFFECTS OF THESE PROCEDURES ARE DISCUSSED. /AUTHOR/
