EQUIVALENT PASSAGES OF AIRCRAFT WITH RESPECT TO FATIGUE DISTRESS OF FLEXIBLE AIRFIELD PAVEMENTS /WITH DISCUSSION/
TIRE CONFIGURATION AND LOAD OF STANDARD AIRCRAFT ARE DESIGNATED IN ORDER TO APPLY THE LOAD EQUIVALENCY CONCEPT TO THE DESIGN OF AIRFIELD PAVEMENTS RESISTANT TO FATIGUE CRACKING. THE EQUIVALENCY FACTORS THAT ARE DERIVED ALLOW THE EVALUATION OF THE RELATIVE DESTRUCTIVE EFFECTS OF VARIOUS AIRCRAFT TYPES IN VARYING COMBINATIONS.
