SYSTEM FOR ROAD NETWORK DESIGN
THE RELATION BETWEEN THE ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF A ROAD NETWORK IS DESCRIBED. THE SUBJECT IS PRIMARILY THE QUESTION AS TO WHICH SYSTEM CAN MOST APPROPRIATELY BE USED TO REGULATE TRAFFIC DISTRIBUTION. IN THE FIRST PART OF THE ARTICLE ATTENTION IS FOCUSED ON THE VARIOUS DISTINGUISHABLE ROAD NETWORKS AND THEIR INTERRELATION, IN THE SECOND PART THE DESIGN OF URBAN ROAD SYSTEMS IS HIGHLIGHTED.
