PRESTRESSED CONCRETE BRIDGE GIRDER DESIGN PROGRAM
A COMPUTER PROGRAM HAS BEEN DEVELOPED IN THIS STUDY TO PERFORM ITERATIVE TYPE CALCULATIONS NECESSARY FOR THE DESIGN OF SIMPLE SPAN I-SHAPED BEAMS OF PRETENSIONED PRESTRESSED CONCRETE FOR USE IN HIGHWAY AND RAILROAD BRIDGES. SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE DESIGNS PRODUCED ARE THOSE THAT ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTABLE BY THE TEXAS HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT. A COMPLETE LISTING OF THE COMPUTER PROGRAM, DETAILED FLOW CHARTS, DEFINITIONS OF TERMS USED IN THE PROGRAM, AND DESCRITIONS OF THE INPUT AND OUTPUT FORMS ARE PRESENTED. /AUTHOR/
