EFFECT OF SINGLE INITIAL LOADING ON THE MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF PLAIN 5 MM STEEL WIRE USED IN PRESTRESSED STRUCTURES /IN POLISH/
DETAILS ARE GIVEN OF TESTS CARRIED OUT TO STUDY THE INFLUENCE OF SIMPLE INITIAL LOADING ON THE MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF PRESTRESSING WIRES, 5 MM IN DIAMETER. THE MECHANICAL PROPERTIES STUDIED WERE TENSILE STRENGTH, YIELD, ELONGATION AFTER RUPTURE AND BENDING. THE INITIAL LOADS USED WERE EQUAL TO 0,385; 0,450; 0,535; 0,590; 0,675; 0,800; AND 0,900 OF THE TENSILE STRENGTH. RESULTS ARE PRESENTED AND DISCUSSED. /RRL/
