PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF A PARTIALLY PRESTRESSED RIGID FRAME CONCRETE BRIDGE
THE CASCADE ORCHARDS BRIDGE IS A CONTINUOUS PARTIALLY PRESTRESSED RIGID FRAME CONCRETE BRIDGE. IT IS CONSTRUCTED FROM CAST-IN-PLACE CONCRETE BOX GIRDERS AND PRECAST, PRESTRESSED CONCRETE GIRDERS FIELD POST-TENSIONED FOR STRUCTURAL CONTINUITY. A DESCRIPTION OF THE STRUCTURE, DESIGN CRITERIA, AND CONSTRUCTION PROCEDURES INTRODUCES A SUMMATION OF FIELD OBSERVATION AND MEASUREMENT RESULTS ABOUT THE IN-SERVICE PERFORMANCE OF THIS BRIDGE. THE STRUCTURE'S RESPONSE TO LOADS AFFIRMS THE APPLICABILITY OF THE AVAILABLE DESIGN KNOWLEDGE TO A PARTIALLY PRESTRESSED AND REINFORCED CONCRETE STATICALLY INDETERMINATE BRIDGE SYSTEM. /RRL/
