TO DEVELOP A HERETOFORE UNEXPLORED FRONTIER IN CONCRETE DECK SLAB ANALYSIS UNDER VEHICULAR LOADING, THIS WORK PRESENTS YIELD MECHANISMS AND FORMULATIONS FOR SIMULTANEOUS POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE ULTIMATE MOMENTS IN HIGH-BRIDGE CONTINUOUS CONCRETE DECK SLABS. IT TREATS THE SIMULTANEOUS ACTION OF CONCENTRATED WHEEL LOADS, THEIR IMPACT, AND THE DEAD LOAD OF SLAB. DIFFERENT LOAD FACTORS FOR DYNAMIC AND STATIC LOADINGS ARE INCORPORATED.
