STUDY OF THE ELASTIC PROPERTIES OF CONCRETE IN A WIDE RANGE OF FREQUENCIES

RESULTS ARE PRESENTED OF MEASUREMENTS OF THE ELASTIC MODULUS OF CONCRETE IN A WIDE RANGE OF FREQUENCIES AT TIME INTERVALS FROM 1000 TO 0.00001 SECONDS. THESE TESTS COMPRISED SINUSOIDAL COMPRESSIVE STRESSES, WITH MEASUREMENTS OF THE AMPLITUDE AND MODULUS PHASE, MEASUREMENTS UNDER TRANISENT CONDITIONS, AND MEASUREMENTS OF THE PHASE PROPAGATION CONSTANT. THE OVERALL RESULTS OBTAINED ARE COMPATIBLE WITH A VISCOELASTIC BEHAVIOR OF THE CONCRETE ACCORDING TO A PARABOLIC LAW. /TRRL/
