EXPERIMENT ON NON-PRESTRESSED CONTINUOUS COMPOSITE BEAMS
PRESTRESSED CONTINUOUS COMPOSITE GIRDER BRIDGES HAVE THE DISADVANTAGE OF INVOLVING COMPLEX PROCEDURE IN DESIGN AND OF TAKING A LONG TIME IN CONSTRUCTION. IN ORDER TO AVOID SUCH DISADVANTAGES, A NON-PRESTRESSED CONTINUOUS COMPOSITE GIRDER BRIDGE IS PROPOSED. STATICAL EXPERIMENTS WERE CARRIED OUT WHICH SHOWED THAT THIS SIMPLIFIED AND ECONOMICAL DESIGN IS POSSIBLE FOR CONTINUOUS COMPOSITE GIRDERS.
