ANALYTICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF A CURVED BRIDGE MODEL
THE TESTING IS DESCRIBED OF A SERIES OF 1/8 SCALE CURVED BRIDGE MODELS. THE BRIDGE MODELS CONSISTED OF A BARE STEEL FRAME SYSTEM, A NONCOMPOSITE CONCRETE DECK AND STEEL FRAME, AND A COMPOSITE CONCRETE DECK AND STEEL FRAME. INCLUDED WERE SIMPLE SPAN, TWO-SPAN, AND THREE-SPAN STRUCTURES WITH FOUR DIFFERENT DIAPHRAGM ARRANGEMENTS. DEFLECTION, ROTATION, AND STRAIN MEASUREMENTS WERE TAKEN. THE EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS WERE COMPARED WITH RESULTS FROM THE SLOPE-DEFLECTION ANALYTICAL METHOD. /BPR/
