TESTS WERE MADE TO (1) COMPARE THE RELATIVE SEVERITY OF A SPECIFIED COORDINATING FREEZING AND THAWING TEST AS PRACTICED IN DIFFERENT LABORATORIES; (2) TO COMPARE THE EFFECTS OF FREEZING AND THAWING PROCEDURES COMMONLY USED IN THESE LABORATORIES; AND (3) COMPARE THE SEVERITY OF THE COORDINATING TEST PROCEDURE WITH LOCAL LABORATORY PROCEDURES. /AUTHOR/
