BOND OF VIBRATED CONCRETE
THE ADVANTAGES OF PLACING CONCRETE BY VIBRATION WHEN BONDING FRESH CONCRETE TO HARDENED CONCRETE OR TO STEEL RODS ARE SHOWN BY TWO SERIES OF TESTS. IN THE FIRST, CROSS BENDING TESTS WERE MADE TO DETERMINE THE BOND OF FRESH CONCRETE TO HARDENED CONCRETE. IN THE SECOND, CONCRETE BEAMS ARE REINFORCED AND LOADED NEAR THE SUPPORT. PULLOUT TESTS ARE ALSO INCLUDED. /AUTHOR/
