ENGINEERING AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM PLAN - AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL TECHNOLOGY
The technology program plan is one in a series of program plans published to document the Engineering and Development activities of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). It describes current and planned activities to examine advanced concepts and techniques and to evaluate their application in the Air Traffic Control (ATC) environment. The program is divided into two major categories: Data Entry and Display Technology and Advanced Computer Technology. The National Aviation Facilities Experimental Center (NAFEC) and the Transportation Systems Center (TSC) are involved in accomplishing this program. (Author)
