DETAILED METHODS FOR THE DETERMINATION OF THE PARTICLE SIZE DISTRIBUTION OF PORTLAND CEMENT FROM WAGNER TURBIDIMETRIC DATA ARE DESCRIBED. ONE METHOD USES ONLY THE DATA OBTAINED IN AN ANALYSIS FOR SURFACE AREA BY ASTM C 115. THE OTHER METHODS INVOLVE SOME ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT AND A MODIFICATION OF THE ASTM PROCEDURE, BUT ALLOW A MORE ACCURATE COMPARISON OF CEMENTS ON THE BASIS OF THEIR SURFACE AREAS AND ON THE RELATIVE AMOUNTS OF THE FINER PARTICLE SIZE FRACTIONS. /PCA/
