STUDIES OF TEMPERATURE IN CONCRETE ROADS WITH AND WITHOUT HEAT INSULATING COURSES /IN GERMAN/
MEASUREMENTS MADE IN SUMMER ON AN EXPERIMENTAL ROAD SHOWED THAT THE USE OF HEAT INSULATING COURSES REDUCES THE TEMPERATURE RANGE BY 30% AND SLIGHTLY RAISES THE AVERAGE DAILY TEMPERATURE. MEASUREMENTS MADE IN WINTER SHOWED THAT EARLIER ICING COULD BE EXPECTED. /FG/RRL/
