INFLUENCE OF WATER-REDUCING AND SET-RETARDING ADMIXTURES ON CREEP OF LIGHTWEIGHT AGGREGATE CONCRETE
TEST RESULTS ON THE INFLUENCE OF TWO ADMIXTURES, ONE BELONGING TO CLASS 3, THE OTHER TO CLASS 1 OF THE A.S.T.M. CLASSIFICATION, ON CREEP OF LIGHTWEIGHT AGGREGATE CONCRETE ARE PRESENTED. IT IS SHOWN THAT A CONSIDERABLE INCREASE IN CREEP MAY RESULT, BUT THE CREEP DEFLECTION RECOMMENDATIONS OF A.C.I. ARE CONSERVATIVE FOR LIGHTWEIGHT AGGREGATE CONCRETE.
