EFFECT OF ADMIXTURES ON THE PROPERTIES OF HARDENED CONCRETE AND MORTAR /FRENCH/
THE EFFECT OF VARIOUS TYPES OF SURFACE-ACTIVE ADMIXTURES ON THE BULK DENSITY, HOMOGENEITY, AND STRENGTH OF CONCRETE AND MORTAR IS STUDIED. THE INFLUENCE OF WATER-REDUCING AGENTS AND AIR-ENTRAINING AGENTS ON THE MODULUS OF ELASTICITY, SHRINKAGE, CREEP, CAPILLARY ADSORPTION, PERMEABILITY, FROST RESISTANCE AND DURABILITY IS DISCUSSED. THE EFFECT ON HARDENED CONCRETE AND MORTAR OF ADMIXTURES WHICH MODIFY THE SETTING AND HARDENING PROCESS IS OUTLINED. THE ACTION OF CALCIUM CHLORIDE AND OTHER ACCELERATORS AND RETARDERS IS INVESTIGATED, AND THE CORROSION OF REINFORCEMENT IN CONCRETE EXAMINED. /CRIC/FESR /LCPC/RRL/A/
