DURABILITY OF CONCRETE AND ITS IMPROVEMENT THROUGH WATER REDUCING ADMIXTURES
THE EFFECTS OF CHEMICAL ADMIXTURES ON CONCRETE AND SOME ASPECTS OF DURABILITY OF CONCRETE ARE REVIEWED. A VITAL QUALITY OF CONCRETE STRUCTURE IS ITS DURABILITY, WHICH MAY BE ATTAINED IF THE CONCRETE IS IMPERMEABLE AND RESISTANT TO FROST. THESE TWO FEATURES WILL BE ACHIEVED-PROVIDED GOOD CONCRETING TECHNIQUES ARE USED-WITH THE HELP OF EFFICIENT ADMIXTURES. THIS CONCEPT WAS TECHNICALLY EXPLAINED AND DISCUSSED AND PROVEN WITH THE HELP OF THE TEST REPORTS. /RRL/LCPC/A/
