INFLUENCE OF WATER-REDUCING AND AIR-ENTRAINING ADMIXTURES ON THE WATER-REQUIREMENT, AIR CONTENT, STRENGTH, MODULUS, OF ELASTICITY, SHRINKAGE AND FROST-RESISTANCE OF CONCRETE
THE INVESTIGATION COMPRISES A DETERMINATION OF THE INFLUENCE OF A LARGE NUMBER OF WATER-REDUCING OR/AND AIR- ENTRAINING ADMIXTURES ON THE WATER-REQUIREMENT AND AIR- CONTENT OF CONCRETE. ON THE BASIS OF THIS SURVEY A FEW ADMIXTURES REPRESENTING (1) WATER-REDUCING, (2) AIR- ENTRAINING AND (3) COMBINED WATER-REDUCING AND AIR- ENTRAINING TYPES WERE SELECTED AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON DIFFERENT CONCRETE PROPERTIES WERE STUDIED. AMONG THESE PROPERTIES WERE DEFORMABILITY (WITH A SPECIAL APPARATUS), COMPRESSIVE AND FLEXURAL STRENGTH, MODULUS OF ELASTICITY, FROST-RESISTANCE, PERMEABILITY AND SHRINKAGE. /RRL/LCPC/A/
