ANALYSIS OF ACCELERATED 24-HOUR CONCRETE STRENGTHS FROM FIELD TESTS
THE ANALYSIS SHOWED SIGNIFICANT RELATION BETWEEN ACCELERATED CURED AND 28 DAYS STANDARD CURED STRENGTH THOUGH THE TEST RESULTS WERE WIDELY SCATTERED. THE 28-DAY STANDARD CURED STRENGTH CAN BE PREDICTED FROM THE ACCELERATED 24-HR. STRENGTH WITH A PLUS OR MINUS 15.2 TO 23.6%. THE RELATIONS ARE INDEPENDENT OF THE AGGREGATES USED BUT DEPEND AT LOW STRENGTH LEVEL ON WATER/CEMENT RATIO OF THE CONCRETE MIXES.
