THE GRADING OF ANIONIC BITUMEN EMULSION
A CASE FOR A REALISTIC GRADING OF ANIONIC BITUMEN EMULSION IS PRESENTED IN AS MUCH AS CURRENT PRACTICE IN SOME QUARTERS OFFERS THE ONE GRADE TO SUFFICE FOR THE REQUIREMENTS OF BOTH SLOW AND MEDIUM SETTING EMULSION. IN ADDITION A SIMPLE QUICK AND REPRODUCIBLE PAPER ABSORPTION TEST HAS BEEN DEVISED WHICH AFFORDS A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF CONTROL OVER EMULSION GRADE, INDEPENDENTLY OF ITS INTENDED USE. /AUTHOR/
