Design of floating hose developed to overcome problems associated with loading very large tankers; method of maneuvering of length of 24 in. Selflote hose to join it to other sections to form complete floating oil pipe line; hose consists of oil and suction discharge hose on to which are bounded layers of closed foam and tough synthetic vulcanized outer cover.
