GUSSASPHALT IN URBAN ROAD CONSTRUCTION /IN GERMAN/
DECADES OF EXPERIENCE WITH GUSSASPHALT SURFACINGS IN MUNICH HAVE PROVED THAT THIS MATERIAL IS PARTICULARLY SUITABLE FOR URBAN AREAS. THE USUAL GUSSASPHALT COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF PLACEMENT ARE DESCRIBED. MOST SURFACE DAMAGE IS ESTABLISHED AS DUE TO FAULTS IN THE SUBGRADE AND SUBSOIL. THE FORMATION OF CRACKS OVER CONCRETE ROADBASES AND BLISTERS OVER TOO DENSE A BASECOURSE IS ALSO DESCRIBED.
