CRITICAL SECTIONS FOR FLEXURE IN PRESTRESSED GIRDERS WITH INCLINED TOP FLANGES
EQUATIONS ARE PRESENTED FOR THE LOCATION OF THE CRITICAL SECTIONS DUE TO FLEXURE IN BONDED PRESTRESSED GIRDERS WITH MODERATELY SLOPING TOP FLANGES. RESULTS ARE FOUND FOR BOTH SERVICE LOAD (UNCRACKED SECTION) AND DESIGN LOAD (CRACKED SECTION). GENERAL EMPIRICAL FORMULAS, TAKING INTO ACCOUNT SHRINKAGE AND CREEP DEFORMATIONS, ARE APPLICABLE FOR RECTANGULAR SECTIONS AS WELL AS I- AND T-GIRDERS. /JCPI/
