CREEP ANALYSIS OF CONCRETE AT ELEVATED TEMPERATURES
CONSTITUTIVE RELATIONS OF CONCRETE ACCOUNTING FOR THE TEMPERATURE AND LOAD HISTORY, THE AGING, AND THE INFLUENCE TEMPERATURE ON CREEP, ARE USED FOR THE ANALYSIS OF A FLEXURALLY RESTRIANED, CONCENTRICALLY PRESTRESSED CONCRETE BEAM AND A THICK-WALLED CONCRETE RING. BOTH MODELS, REPRESENTING ELEMENTS OF ACTUAL NUCLEAR REACTOR PRESSURE VESSELS, ARE ANALYZED AS TYPICAL EXAMPLES OF PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED IN CONCRETE STRUCTURES SUBJECTED TO LONG-TERM THERMAL GRADIENTS.
