DETAILED DISCUSSIONS OF RESEARCH ACTIVITIES DURING THIS PAST YEAR, NOT COVERED IN PAST REPORTS, ARE PROVIDED. THESE DISCUSSIONS INCLUDE WHEEL REPLACEMNT INVESTIGATIONS, RESEARCH ACTIVITIES IN CONSTRUCTION CONTROL, SPECTRAL ANALYSIS METHODS, MAYS ROAD METER CORRELATION STUDIES, AND PSI MODEL INVESTIGATIONS. SPECIAL EMPHASIS IS PLACED ON NEW METHODS FOR USING SPECTRAL ANALYSIS FOR IDENTIFICATION OF VARIOUS ROAD PROFILE CHARACTERISTICS.
