RELATION BETWEEN THE STRENGTH OF CONCRETE AND THE STRENGTH OF AGGREGATES
BASED ON THE EXAMINATION OF THE COMPLETE BREAK OF CONCRETE SAMPLES, A CRITERION IS PROPOSED FOR DETERMINING THE UTLIMATE STRENGTH OF MORTAR AND AGGREGATES AS A FUNCTION OF THE GIVEN STRENGTH OF CONCRETE. THE COMPRESSION LOADS WHICH FACILITATE THE DETERMINATION OF WEAK, LOW-STRENGTH, LOOSE GRAINS OF THE AGGREGATES ARE DEFINED, AND THE INFLUENCE OF THE USE OF LOW-STRENGTH AGGREGATE ON THE MECHANICAL STRENGTH OF CONCRETE IS EMPHASIZED.
