FORECASTING THE STRENGTH OF PORTLAND CEMENT
IT IS POSSIBLE TO MAKE A RAPID CALCULATION OF THE FUTURE STRENGTH OF PORTLAND CEMENT. THE CALCULATION METHOD IS BASED ON THE FACT THAT PORTLAND CEMENT PROPERTIES DEPEND ON ITS MINERAL AND GRANULOMETRIC COMPOSITION. BASED ON NUMEROUS RESULTS, MULTIPLE REGRESSION COEFFICIENTS, WHICH RELATED COMPOSITION AND PROPERTIES, WERE CALCULATED BY MEANS OF THE LEAST SQUARE METHOD WITH THE HELP OF A COMPUTER. ANY LABORATORY EQUIPPED WITH AN X-RAY DIFFRACTOMETER AND GRANULOMETRIC ANALYSIS APPARATUS CAN CALCULATE THE CHARACTERISTICS OF PORTLAND CEMENT IF MULTIPLE REGRESSION EQUATIONS HAVE BEEN DERIVED BEFOREHAND.
