RELATION BETWEEN CREEP DEFORMATION AND STRESS RELAXATION IN CONCRETE
THIS STUDY SHOWS HOW THE CREEP FUNCTION CAN BE CONVERTED AS A FUNCTION OF RELAXATION WHEN TIME AND STRESS FACTORS CAN BE SEPARATED. FINAL CREEP VALUES AND FINAL RELAXATION VALUES ARE GIVEN. GENERALLY RELAXATION DEPENDS ON INITIAL STRESSES; THIS INFLUENCE IS FELT NOT ONLY WHEN CREEP DEFORMATION IS CLOSELY PROPORTIONAL TO THE EXISTING STRESS. THESE THEORETICAL RESULTS ARE ASSESSED AND COMPARED WITH SOME EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS. /TRRL/
