NON-LINEAR CREEP DEFORMATIONS OF CONCRETE UNDER COMPLEX LOADING CONDITIONS
THE AUTHORS CONCLUDE THAT THE CREEP DEFORMATIONS OF CONCRETE IN COMPRESSION DO NOT HAVE A LINEAR RELATION WITH STRESSES FROM THEIR LOWEST VALUES. DELAYED DEFORMATIONS, IN THE CASE OF TOTAL LOAD REMOVAL, ARE LINEARLY RELATED TO STRESSES ACTING BEFORE THE REMOVAL OF THE LOAD. DELAYED SPECIFIC DEFORMATIONS CAN BE ASSUMED TO BE EQUAL TO THE SPECIFIC CREEP DEFORMATIONS OF AN IDENTICAL SAMPLE LOADED AT THE SAME AGE UNDER VERY LOW COMPRESSIVE STRESSES (NEAR ZERO). A FAIRLY ACCURATE METHOD IS OUTLINED WHICH DESCRIBES THE DEFORMATIONS OF CONCRETE SUBJECTED TO STRESSES VARYING WITH TIME. /TRRL/
